Chris, one of the other mods on here marched contra at Magic as well.
I once did a Vis block with one for Horn Appreciation day during Finals week, but that's as close as I can claim to have come :-p

I've never marched in a corps with horn appreciation... it must have been REALLY nice.
It was definitely a lot of fun. It was funny that the mellos could handle the contras, but the sops were dying with the barieuphs. And of course it was like Christmas for the low brass.
OK, I haven't been on. Cool! There are other Contra's/Tubas!

I have you know that I had no problem holding the euph that I was given!!!! Just wait....
I play the tuba... well, sousaphone during marching.... I've not auditioned for a corps yet, but I want to try for the Blue Devils.
