Does your director use drum corps as an example? If so, who?

Back when I was in high school, our director never really used drum corps as an example. However, we would get to watch different clips and the likes in his office from time to time. In that case, it was generaly old CBC clips from the '80s as well as Star and Cavies.

My director didn't use drum corps at all. I remember when I told him that I was going to audition last summer and he basically told me that drum corps was for playing loud all the time. My director was one of those that didn't really deal with the problems, he sort of 'patched' them!

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Mempho 2007 playing loud all the time!? I'm pretty sure we had close to the loudest *and* softest (comparitive to our hornline size of 29) volumes in our division, possibly the activity.
